Rep Power: 12 | Its nota threat to the forum.. If we allow you to post your link how many new threads do you think we would have about new startups every day? This is not the way to advertise... work on seo and do some directory submission and stuff and you are off to a good start. |

May be they can scan their link with Norton Safe web (or any other source) and provide us with the results so that they continue using the links.. From now onwards..members should get their links scanned for 100% safe & then use them in their signature.... It one way it would help in improving the quality of this forum.... |

| Platinum Member  | I think a time may soon come that we may have to regretfully ban all external signatures and that would be such a pity and injustice to others. But I thought that vBulletin site restrictions prevented links being posted before reaching 15 posts. Or is it just for posts and not signatures.

Rep Power: 12 | There are options to restrict signatures as well but I have kept all restrictions off to make sure no genuine members face any problems as we have many members here who have very good blogs and sites and it would be a real shame if they wont be able to have their links in their signatures.. Unfortunately we would have to keep a watch manually on this issue... atleast for the time being untill we get some better solution as banning signature links is not an option and I would like to assure all members that signature links will always be allowed here no matter what... as long as its a legit site with no security threats on the linked site. I will have a look at some mods which are available  |

| Dear admin, I have also checked it. If you see it clearly there are 45 threats, but in other domains hosted with co.cc There is nowhere my domain name written You dont have to blame someone without proper proof There it is written " Location on site " you can see there is not my domain listed. the report is about co.cc and the threats are in some other domains hosted with co.cc Last edited by Fly Way India; 10-09-08 at 10:04 AM. Rep Power: 12 | Why do you put the responsibility to check where the threat is located on the visitors? why dont you buy a proper domain for your site and get some sensible hosting? Please try to understand that as a webmaster be it me or you its us who want others to come and visit our sites so why would I or you expect visitors to take the pain of checking line by line on that page if your pages are ok or not... why not do something yourself to make sure no such issue remains? Your hosting is a free one and there are no gurantees that your content will be safe there and the hosts can do whatever they like with your domain at any time as they are not bound by any contract... this can include leaving trojans in your visitors machines. I hope you understant what I am trying to say.. Check www.indiabroadband.net and see if it flags any security threats. |
