I don't know why they create much hype of this. I am sure that many in India do not even understand the race even if Doordarshan decides to telecast it live. And it seems they have tax exemptions too. Well doesn't matters for me whether it happens in Atlanta, Europe or India as there is flat chance I buy a ticket to watch an F1 race.

i think F-1 in other "rich" countries too is a thing of the "rich" people there too..
its the kids which dream about racing cars, they are the followers mostly.. speeds.
India is 4th largest economy. Even if on pages only and not on ground talking. when a country becomes a powerful parity holder, it starts to showcase some muscles, even if its a mirage.


btw, i dont follow any of the guys except UB Chairperson. Somehow he brought F-1 to India.. and Michael Schumacher.. i love him..

India needed F-1 somewhere i feel this..

By the way, i like the way our politicians are "filling" their pockets and started to get ready for elections etc...
