Can i connect my Laptop to the newly bought Toshiba Regza 42" LCD TV ?
The TV has an option (in Menu mode) but i dont know how to go about...

The TV has an option (in Menu mode) but i dont know how to go about...
You can connect by any one of the following means:
1. HDMI-2-HDMI or DVI-2-HDMI cable (best) - your laptop must have an HDMI/DVI port.
2. Analog Video - the TV must have an 15-pin blue PC input connection
3. S-Video or Composite AV

All of the above (HDMI, DVI, S-Video, Analog Video) do not carry sound. These are meant for video only.
For Audio, you can connect as follows:
a) If you have proper Sound Card like Creative Sound Blaster or equivalent, connect the optical out to a Dolby Digital or DTS receiver to get full 5.1/7.1 surround sound.
b) If your PC just has a headphone jack, then get a headphone to stereo RCA cable as shown below and connect it to AV in of the the TV.
