Default Apple Mac Book- the popular apple laptop

Mac Book is a popular apple laptop Model; it was launched on May 16, 2006. The laptop is very efficient. It is because it runs on an Intel Core Duo processor along with a 945GM chipset, the integrated graphics card is the Intel GMA950 mounted on a 667 MHz front-side bus.

In its later versions the Mac book has started to opt for Core 2 Duo processor along with the GM965 chipset. Also included is the Intel X3100 integrated graphic card that runs on an 800 MHz system bus.

Mac book is a much thinner than any other Apple Laptop. The Mac Book is still wider due to the widescreen display it sports. In addition, the Mac Book has also adopted Apple's new MagSafe power connector. Apart from this it also includes a mini-DVI display port.

The laptop also has an integrated Intel GMA solution. This makes the whole experience of using it much better then any of its predecessors.

It is the first Apple laptop that features a glossy display and a sunken keyboard design. The laptop has an entirely non-mechanical magnetic latch. Since last year some changes have been done. The laptop’s keyboard has changed a lot so to make it easier to operate yet sleek. Also added are the function hot-keys and the embedded virtual numeric keypad has been removed. The command keys no longer have an apple Logo

The Laptop is plain good looking without any extra attempts at looking chic. The machine is available in two colors, white and Black. Both the colors are good to look at and are subtle yet impressive.

So it does not hurt to say, that the Mac book may be the best laptop that Apple ever made. In short the money spent on it is nothing compared to the features it provides to its users.

good information can be very useful for most of the users who still don't know about mac but want to know

i like the latest version of apple mac that is 10.5 Leopard.
Great graphics, good user interface, wonderful sound and on the top of all this a decent looking system without can extra cables hanging around

have you ever tried to check mouse of mac 10.3 Panther. Its a good one looks like single click button type but bit complex to work on

    Nice info ..thanks for sharing.
One of my friends has a Mac Book Air .....its such a superb system to use and the low weight makes it so handy that you can carry it anywhere ...and you wont even feel that you are actually carrying a laptop in your back pack.
It has such a nice feel that even the Dell machine that i have feels rough a bit.Its smother than vaio keypad and the mouse is like feather touch.
Take a look at it in the showroom if you get a chance.I am not sure its available in the Indian market or not.

    Regards,

I really wouldn't recommend a Mac for anything, it can't do anything any other pc can't do and the prices are definitely mega inflated, the hardware actually costs a qaurter, you pay half for the shiny apple printed on it

ag_prasun, if you're thinking of getting it, please don't, i've had a macbook and there;s nothing special about them, except for the stupid price tag, you's think it costs less to print an apple on a 40,000 machine....lol
