Compaq Presario V6000 is undoubtedly one of the most popular Compaq laptop models. It is a widescreen laptop computer with a 15.4 inches screen. The laptop is manufactured by the computer brand Hewlett Packard.

The Compaq Presario V6000z series runs on AMD processors. The usual processor included in the models is Sempron. The Turion X2 is also used in the V6000t model. This model also uses the Intel processors.

The laptop has some really amazing specifications, it is available with the AMD Athlon 64 X2 process which works on the company’s Dual-Core Mobile Technology TK-53. The processor is 1.7 GHz, with a 512 KB cache.

There also is a model with the AMD Turion 64 X2 processor which runs on Dual-Core Mobile Technology known as TL-50. It is 1.6 GHz with a cache of 256 KB. Another model has a AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core process running on the TL-52 Mobile Technology

The V6000 has a wonderful screen with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels with both NVIDIA GeForce Go 7150M video card and the Intel X3100 video card. The laptop’s memory can be easily expanded to a total of 2 GB. The computer also has a built in wireless LAN receiver

The laptop runs on different version of the windows operating system. It runs on the Microsoft Windows XP Home (32-bit), Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic (32-bit), Microsoft Windows XP Professional (32-bit) and the Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit)

If the users want to upgrade to the Windows Vista Business (32-bit), they can easily do so. The laptop also has a hard drive that is sized about 60 GB with a 5400 RPM. There also is a hard drive with 80 GB of space and a 5400 of RPM. Also available are 120 GB and 160 GB that run at 5400 RPM. The maximum hard drive is 250 GB with a 5400 RPM.
