HP laptop- the pavilion DV400 If you want to buy a laptop that is savvy yet portable, then you should go for the HP Pavilion dv4000.
The reason behind its recommendation is that it covers every basic thing that there is. It has an amazingly good looking black and silver case that makes it attractive. Also it has a good keyboard which is easy to use. Also the screen of the laptop is 15.4-inches wide. The screen also has a built in BrightView option. The laptop is very savvy yet it weighs around 6.7-pounds
For entertainment freaks the laptop acts like a stand-alone DVD and CD player. Movies when watched on its 1280 X 800 screen appear even better. To make everything even easier there is a credit-card-size remote, which is stored in the PC Card slot.
The keyboard not only has quick-play buttons for playing DVDs and CDs, there also are some volume buttons that are easy to operate. Apart from that there is a Wi-Fi switch with is lit with a blue LED. The function keys on the keyboard are there to let you control the playback or order of the CD tracks. These keys are easily usable with combination keystrokes. They make every operation seem easier.
The RAM and hard-drive in the Pavilion Dv400 can be easily upgraded. The only part which is somewhat of a problem is its battery, which not only has a sticky release, but is also difficult to fit back again.
A good thing is that the keyboard is not as hard as in the other models. Also the <Ctrl> and <Delete> keys are in the opposite corners, which makes them easy to use together. Also the touchpad is rectangular shaped with a properly textured scroll zone and the mouse buttons are of good size that works well.
All in all the Hp pavilion Dv400 is a good laptop.
