Thread: DELL cheating us or typo?

My fren was planning to get a new dell.
He was confused between the DELL Studio 17 and the M1530.
Look at this:

Now, under featured systems, They say 3GB DDR2 800Mhz ram. Now look under techspecs, They say upto 4GB of DD2 667Mhz. Any1 who owns one can u plz clarify. I have asked the dell support too.

ask ur frend to talk to the dell cc in hyderabad... u will get the no. from dell's site ... they will configure a system of ur choice over the phone and tell u all the details... each component can be chosen separately ...

but remind ur frend one thing - he wont be getting windows xp drivers with dell studio.... they only promote windows vista

Earlier they used to give 667mhz ram, maybe now they have started on with 800mhz ram.

u better ask ur frnd to go for a lenovo ideapad 15 inch laptop ... its far better than dell ...
