Well i still stick to my words of adding drops of oil to the fan bearings although i was taken aback by the idea of putting vaseline in the rotors. I use the multipurpose oil which is sold with sewing machines, it has less viscosity and does not thicken up when subjected to cold temperatures and retails for just 20/- a bottle.

Great to know that you all liked the pics.

I forgot the bbcode for resizing images as I do not normally visit forums unless I have some business there . Can anybody guide me how to resize images to around 300 px.

This is a Vbulletin forum and the pics should be automatically resized if they are over the normal size (if the admin has enabled it). I am a webmaster myself with dozens of websites and so I just recommend the admin to get the image automatically resized in Vbulletin panel.

Can somebody give an idea of how to resize the images for now. (I do not wan to use thumbnails because it gives a dimension of only 150 px which is too small)

You are right. The multipurpose oil is best for the purpose.

But apart from jokes, as somebody has mentioned in this thread, you should clear the dust off your laptop's fan and the outlet through which the fan pushes the air out. I open my laptop every few months and clear the fan and the air outlet because if you do not do that the laptop gets heated up very soon. The dust and dirt on the fan and the outlet does not allow it to function normally and so it gets heated up.

you can use microsoft office picture manager(that is waht i use) for resizing images. or acdsee photo manager. but you dont need to do so. when you will be posting thumbnails here - on clicking they will open up in a new page with full size. use any image upload site for that like Image Hosting - Thumbnail and resize your photos and images . check any of my previous pics posted in this thread. click on the thumbnails. you will understand what i mean... just use the "(BB Code Thumb Preview)" link given when you upload image to such sites...

Hi saurav, thanks for the reply. I have got photoshop, gimp and other image editors and resizing is not a problem. I know about uploadhouse, imageshack, photobucket, imagehost and most other image hosting services but they have their fixed size (mostly 150*150 px) thumbnails and there is no option to resize the thumbnails with custom size. I was asking that is there a way I can resize with bbcode. I used to remain active in many forums around 4 years ago (when I was not busy with my own work ) and I remember using bbcode for resizing images. I am also a owner of many forums and I remember such options in bbcode for resizing pictures. I was asking if anybody knows how to resize images with bbcode. I forgot how to do that.

I tried it too. Does not seem to work here.

Anyways thanks for the help.

Buddy learning has no end. We are all in the process of learning but if you can guide others so well, it implies that you have entered into the next level. I am also learning in many fields throughout the years and I am still learning.

As J. Krishnamurti said

There is no end to education. It is not that you read a book, pass an examination, and finish with education. The whole of life, from the moment you are born to the moment you die, is a process of learning
So, everybody if learning throughout his life.

Found another image hosting where I could custom resize the thumbnail. I resized the pics now. Thanks buddy

@to all who are having problem in posting the pics

Firstly i will recommend you guys that try to upload your pics on ImageShack® - Image Hosting which is i think the best (never runs out of bandwidth) after the upload is finished there are hell lots of links which it gives

So just copy and paste the link which states for forum and you are done

Will mere copy-pasting suffice? I think we need to give the appropriate IMG quotes, right?
