Rep Power: 2  | you can connect 2 comps or laptops without a HUB...but you cant use normal ethernet cable(one from bsnl)..u need CROSS-WIRE cable to do it..just use the cable to directly connect |

| Silver Member | If you want to connect only those two machine yes you can easily do it using your network cable provided you have network slots in both machines. But if you are looking to connect both your machines to the modem then either an ethernet hub would or like mahellraiser has told, an crosswire should be fine.
