Thread: Laptop TV connection

I have HP Pavillion laptop which has HDMI port for connecting to plasma HD TV.

I want to connect my laptop to regular CRT TV as i don't have plasma TV .

Is there any way i can connect CRT on HDMI port of my laptop?

u have s video port on ur lappy?
i just know that u need Svideo cable to connect with TV, if u have Svideo port.

Problem is i don't have S-video port on my Laptop.

ur laptop should have a DVI port. If it does, u can use this:
DVI to Component Video Adapter - SW-4041, $19.95

It will be cheaper in local market.

If u have HDMI only, use HDMI to DVI, then DVI to component.
In this way u WILL lose the audio. U should directly plug external speakers to ur laptop.
