Thread: HP to give free upgrade to W7

hey guys good news, if u buy any HP PC with vista now, u will get a free upgrade to Windows 7.
But, do not rush out to get 1 now, w8 for a few days till they advertise it.

hmm interesting..

is it available for those who already purchased

I don't thing that they will provide it free
There must be some upgrade price.
Yes, they may provide it at low price.

I saw the same in DELL's site. all they say is, this model's eligible and you gotta register within the time period, ie b4 december and you will get windows 7.

It is a free upgrade from Vista premium to w7 similar version (premium ?).

But, in HP's case, u have to ask for it. Meaning tell him that u want a free upgrade and he will give. He will not tell u that there is a free upgrade on offer.

yup, i think that will be the case.

You dont have to ask any one for Upgrade to Windows 7, if you pass the Eligibility Requirements then you can Order a Windows 7 Upgrade Kit.

Eligibility Requirements

1). Your PC must be purchased between June 26, 2009 to January 31, 2010

2). One of the following Windows Vista versions must be factory-installed on your PC:

Windows Vista Home Premium
Windows Vista Business - opens simulated dialog
Windows Vista Ultimate

3). Your PC must be on the Eligible Models list.

If you clear the requirements then place your Order.
