Question Help to choose best laptop (Acer Aspire 5738 Aspire 4736 Dell Inspiron 14 Vostro 1510

    Hi friends,

I want to buy a laptop. After a lot of survey I have short listed some laptops. These laptops have good configuration.

Acer Aspire 5738 C2Duo --------- ( +ve excellent features, looks ; -ve people say not reliable)
Acer Aspire 4736 C2Duo --------- ( +ve excellent features, looks ; -ve people say not reliable)
Dell Inspiron 14 C2Duo ---------- (+ve recommended mostly ; -ve exceeds budget slightly)
Dell Vostro 1510 C2Duo ---------- (+ve comparatively low cost ; -ve looks less attractive)

Now I'm in dilemma to choose one from them. My requirements are -
    1) Price preferably below 35000 /- (though Inspiron 14 is slightly conslier)
    2) Reliability of parts
    3) Trouble free use
    4) After sell service (in case of problem)
    5) Looks

I am kind of biased towards Acer due to its looks and features. But my colleagues warns me. So I recommendation from this forum.

Please friends suggest me the right one considering my requirements. I need it urgently.

    Regards,
    PremNath

    @ Premnath

I'm having good experience with Acer... and 3 other persons I know are using Acer since more than 2 years... No complains from them too... It's a smart choice... I checked the two models you mentioned... Seems quite good... with 3 GB DDR3 RAM... and quite improved intel's integrated Video card... If you want a desktop replacement, then go for Acer Aspire 5738 C2Duo... If you intend to take it out of home, then go for Acer Aspire 4736 C2Duo... Also, latter will give more battery backup...

Go ahead with any one of them without any fuss!

Though aces looks great n offering good config in a cheaper price,it have poor build quality. key pad is not that pleasing Compared to dell..Also dell offering good service also..
