| Junior Member | hey folks.. am planning to setup a small lab for my cwna exam practise... so heres the setup... 1 workstation(soon to be a server with windows 2003), 2 laptops, 1 access point, internet workstation:- core2duo 8500,3ghz, 2gb 667mhz,240gb,vista ultimate x32 upgrade - 4gb 800mhz, win2003 x64, also running 3 virtual machines ( ubuntu 9,fedora10, xp) laptop 1:- need to run linux distro (preffered ubuntu x64 server) and a virtual machine(xp) laptop 2:- preffered a mini lappy, enough power to run backtrack linux distro.. Access point - dlink or linksys or netgear ? and also planning to setup a NAS(network attached storage) for all these machines with 80x80 gb=160gb case attached to access point through wire. somebody please suggest me laptops and access point that would complete my lab and with in my budget of 46000/-50000/- ... thanks |
