Rep Power: 1  |  dvd rom problem hi guys i have lenovo 300 y 500 and i am facing problem with it dvd rom .it either detect a cd or dvd nor it burn .i take it lenovo service center and they said that it lens is weak and suggested me to buy a new rom .they said that the new rom will cost me about 5000 bucks.can someone help me and tell me the accurate price of it . please help |

Rep Power: 3 | u will have to buy in 5000 bucks as the lenovo service center is the one who should do this............. but if the laptop is in warranty then get it replaced.. |

Rep Power: 2 | It sounds like it does need replacing. Get an independant adviser to take a look at it, maybe that will work oout cheaper. Alternatively, you can do what I did and get a new laptop.  |
