    Default Help needed

    hai friends,
    I have a HP Pavilion dv4 series laptop with VISTA home premium installed from company.
    now i want to install Windows Xp on it..
    is it posible???

    Insert your XP installation disc and select the drive you want to install.

    when i insert XP installation disc.. first comes Setup is loading files... but after 10-15 seconds A blue screen comes with this message...

    I was not able to move further..Can anyone pls tell me , how can i install xp in my hp laptop. One more thing pls help me from where I can download audio driver. I checked in HP website but there was no driver availablr for Audio...

    If you don't want Vista at all, then run DBAN, it will wipe your drive completely, and should allow you to install XP without a problem, since that error is most likely a hard drive error.

    Most probably it ll be a HDD error.. If not, do formatting before you install OS..
    Any drivers can download directly if you not getting below procedure ll help you...
    go to my comp right click go to manage then click on device manage by clicking which all you want you can remove or check for new drivers
