In today’s market one doesn’t suffer with a problem of scarcity related to the options/variety available in the market, be it anything- mobile, laptops, watches. Below I have prepared a “TO CHECK” list which one should consider while buying a Laptop.

Brand: This is real important point; you should list down the points you wish to see in your laptop & accordingly do a proper research in the market. There is a possibility that you are getting same configuration at different prices from different manufacturers.

Weight & Size: Yes, these things does matter, you should check out the weight & size of the laptops before buying them. Normally laptops weigh around 1.5 – 2.5 kg; therefore you should know that how you will be using it. If you have to carry it outside often then you should go for the lighter one while if it has to stay at home you can opt for the bulkier one as more features normally increase the weight & size of the laptop.

Display Size: Again an important point, something to decide yourself you suits you the most, what is more comfortable for you & then opt it as per your need.

Pointing stick: I am not sure if this is a technical term or not, but I am talking about the small rubber between the center of the keys. (Generally around G, H & B keys). Okay now you know what I am talking about. This sometimes comes handy hence really useful while some of the users don’t like it much. So decide before you go!

Battery: Ah! The life line of the computer! Checking Batteries is really helpful. Some batteries take longer to charger while some consumes less power & both give equal results. But thanks to advanced technology we are getting these days there are light & fast options are available in the market, so better choose the best.

Display: Nowadays, modern laptops generally carry only TFT screens which are best but bit costly as compared to the passive-matrix (dual scan) screen which are quite cheap. But if you don’t want to compromise with the performance better go with TFT one.

Keyboards: All laptops normally have the same keyboards but I would prefer if you just try to type something & feel the comfort you’re getting while typing, some keyboards are bit hard which can give trouble to your fingers when working for long hours.

Price: I need not to say anything on this. The ultimate decision is yours; one should do a proper comparison before closing the deal. Remember, like love; Laptop also comes in all shape, size & price.

Hope the above will help you in making up your mind.
