The laptop fan usually makes a lot of noise as it gets old or there is some problem with it like getting debris or dirt. The fan of the laptop is installed to blow the hot air out of your laptop. If the fan is making lot of noise then seriously you are in trouble and there is some amount of risk with the laptop because it is an indication of the fan having some trouble or its inability to let the hot air blown out. There are chances that long use of the laptop will lead to laptop going dead. The Operating system of the laptop can get hanged due to overheat and also the software may become vulnerable to some sort of damage or malfunction. It requires that you immediately get the fan replaced or clean the dirt.

First you need to open the laptop screws that are normally located with Warranty stickers. If you laptop is still under warranty give up the idea of cleaning or replacing the fan at home. It will void all warranty that is covered by the manufacturer. It makes things easier for you. Take it to the service center and get the fan repaired or replaced. For repairing you don’t have to pay a single penny, but for replacement perhaps you would have to pay the amount the new fan costs. If your laptop has become old and all warranty on it is over, then you just open the laptop case which is located at the lower portion of the laptop. As the case opens you find the fan located near one corner. If dirt and debris is playing the spoilsport, clean them and if the fan is worn out, get one same fan for the model you use and replace it.
