Go for Dell inspiration 1435.but it doesn't have any 1Gb graphics card.

1GB cards are costlier in laptops with that config.

If you are thinking laptop for mobility then smaller is better. A 15" screen only gives half an inch of extra width but increases weight considerably.

But even with increasing the budget, it will be very difficult to find a laptop of those specs in the alloted amount. Maybe Acer would be cheaper.

BTW, who said Dell's are fake? If you order Dell online, why would it be fake?

Well just4 kix I think acer can't beat dell and compaq as well!
If i don't have a credit card then i think so i can't order dell!
I have personally observed dell vostro 15"
My relatives have them!Whenever my cousin plays Gta and Nfs he complains me about small size! Can you post a actual size of your promised 15"?

15" is a diagonal width of the screen. So when moving from 14" to 15", the effective gain legth-wise is just over 0.5".

I know that Acer is not in the same league as Dell/Compaq. I mentioned it because you have a budget constraint.

You do not need a credit card to order from Dell. You can locate a Dell direct store in your city/nearby town and order from there by paying via cheque. The procedure is same as online; instead they do it for you. Visit Dell website.

    ----
Addition: If you wish to play games, why don't you buy a desktop instead? You will get better specs in the same budget.

first of all Credit Card is not the only option to buy online.u can pay through demand draft/debit card(verified by visa).

And if in ur relative's laptop GTA hangs then u should try to change the resolution.

15" is enough.and if u need big screen then whynot connect ur laptop to ur TV for big screen??HDMI port is useful in that case.

Acer is not that as Dell but if the config is same then whats the point of telling acer bad??After all configuration is the only thing which brings life to pcs.
    Good configuration= Good experience.

and i warn u to not go with Lenovo.my dad has one and Lenovo didn't even give Windows with it.

1GB cards in laptop is becoming hard to find.is 512MB OK??u won't get those high end cards in laptop!medium or low end cards.

Well, don't forget that you also need a high capacity HD. I mentioned about Western Digital's Caviar line in one of my threads. It's cool, quiet, low on power and it has upto 2TB of storage capacity. Hope this helps also.
