    Default is there any lappy available with external gpu expansion slots.

    recently my friend told me that in some laptops ,there are some laptops on which there is a external gpu card slot available.if he is correct ,can somebody mention me the company and brand names with prices?

    Nothing like that exists,your friend is mistaken.

    nothing like that till now.but read Post #3 and u will come to know they will be available in future.

    The major problem with the concept of external GPU is the bus restriction. The current busses (USB,etc) are far far too slow, they need to be 50x faster for them to be even useful.

    then there wouldn't be any use of this right??and will we need to change PSU in lappy to for installing new GFX??

    I don't think I heard about that yet. The only external parts I am aware of pertain to external HDs. Mine is from Western Digital. Don't have any problems with it. It's 2 TB, SATA 3 Gb/s, 64 MB Cache, 7200 RPM.
