Default HP DV2910US not Booting up

    Hi

I was playing a Game on my laptop. Suddenly everything Got hanged. I waited for a long time but nothing happened. Then i also tried hard rebooting of the Laptop ( by long pressing the Power button), It remained in the same hanged condition.

After waiting for a long time with no options left. I removed the battery of laptop and readjusted it. From there onwards, the Laptop is not even booting up.

It is not even passing supply to the HDD fans. CD Writer is getting supply and functioning ( mechanically correct).

Now when i try to boot the system using power button, the LEDS turns up once and they blink once ( Turned off and on) and stays on. No System boot, No Fan movements, No harddisk Movements nothing is happening. Please suggest how to cope up with the situation.

    Thanks

    Sachin

    Hi Friend,
You should have the option to press F11 to do a system restore, have you tried this?

    Thanks,
    James

The OS has to boot before you can do a system restore!! That's not the case here
