Thread: Which laptop to buy..??

Hello Friend
I am planning to buy a laptop.

My requirements will be
1.Installing TIBCO BW
2.TIBCO Activematrix
3.Web surfing

I have heard that TIBCo software cannot be installed on i-series processors.
Does it depend on the hardware or the operating system.Can we install Windows-XP on i-series processors ?
Please suggest.

u can install xp on iseries lappys.

i too heard that we canot run most of applications on i series lappys
but they are false
im using i3 processor and am able to use webMethods easily apart from oracle and all other softwares that are compatible with xp.

only thing is that u need to check the compatibility with windows7(if u r planning to use it)
or else u can install xp.
