Hi my brother has this laptop and is installed windows vista in it..

the battery drains up and says not charging. help please..

Warranty period 12 months over ?

its over..

well, the problem seems to be some os problem.. i have googled about it and people have no knowledge about whats happening.. while MS is not willing to say that there is some problem with the drivers..
No error on the screen occurs, just the battery goes off after sometime and the plugin AC cable doesnt recognise.

thanks essbebe for the pains, .. now i came to know that this was not an o.s problem, have shown to the dealer and he said that the ac cord is faulty..

If there is anyone who is planning to buy a new laptop and is concerned about the battery life, I would like to request you to buy a netbook instead of a notebook. A netbook runs for around 8-10 hours without power connection after a full charge. My 1 year old Intel Atom netbook still runs for 6 hours.
