Thread: Dell Laptop Issues

Lot of my friends are saying that Dell Laptops gives frequent problems. Issues can be as small as keyboard not functioning to serious issues like processor failure.

I wanted to buy a Dell XPS 15 (Currently out of stock) Laptop. But I'm getting a lot of suggestion to not to go for Dell.

Agree. used SONY and Dell laptops.
Dell Inspiron8000 LCD display has gone faulty .
Key board trouble often.
( say about 3 years old ) Battery dud..
Another Dell Laptop recent model No display.Hard disk crash.

A very old Sony Fx 215 still working ( with OS XP /HD replacements) standby laptop .
( almost 7 to 8 years old . Display 60% but working readable.)
Prices start from Rs 14,000 for a Samsung laptop.
( Prices lower depending on screen size also.)

I too own a vaio laptop which never had any issues except my battery which is losing its charge soon nowadays.

But the vaio's screen quality as compared to other brands is much better, more like pure colours & clear screen.

And i love looks quality & the feel of my laptop.

Besides many say that Dell laptop tend to get overheat & also i've seen the persons owning dell had serious injuries due to battery bursting.

It is not a problem of company but out of 100 if one faced problem than it is not necessary for all to have same problem and also all companies are providing services upto sometime for problem regarding it company faults. You have to buy that laptop without any worry.

i would suggest go with dell... if u have enough money sure u can go for sony...but the price of sony ll be almost double than dell for the particular config in both dell and sony.. this is my suggestion..

I have been using dell for last 1&1/2 year
dell is awesome

i am using a DELL Latitude series laptop since 3 years
i am using it for more than 18 hours a day, some time continuous on for even 2 to 3 weeks , i have good battery backup of about 3 hours, its working fine ,even i have dropped it from about 5 feet on staircase 4 to 5 times , its s good rugged laptop and i am fully satisfied

yes del laptops have many problem some time laptop is heat very high and stop working even in cool temprature.
dell has to imporve his laptop's performance.
