Thread: Gaming Laptop in 60K range

I want to buy a laptop primarily for playing games and price is around 60K.

I chose Dell XPS 15 (with i7 and Nvidia 435M).

I'm looking forward to suggestions.

The XPS 15 doesnt come with Core i7 rather XPS 14 comes with core i7 processor and graphic card is a NVIDIA® 425M and not 435M.

It also comes with a 1 year complete care warranty though I would suggest to upgrade the warranty to 2 year as the parts are very expensive for a laptop.

hi.. i would suggest u to go with either i3 or i5 processor. cause i7 has shown many problems.. one of which is the heating.. if u still want to stick with i7 i would suggest u better have some extra cash to get a cooling pad..

The XPS 15 now comes with new Sandy bridge powered i7 processor which is much faster and cooler. For a configuration priced 56k you'll get a 1GB DDR3 GeForce 525M + intel i7 2630qm. I would suggest you to go for HP Pavilion dv6 6017tx instead. At a price of 52k you'll get the same config as dell XPS but an AMD Radeon HD 6770 1GB DDR5 which is much faster than Dell XPS 15

For Gaming HP dv6 is much better.
