I always thought that if your a gamer its always best to purchase a desktop rather than a laptop, simply because of its hardware usage! Ive seen some play games on their laptop, and it totally exhausts the laptop out.

A Desktop Computer is much more been stable as compared to Laptop. Laptops are only suitable for works where the instant computer is required. Because it's portable we can take Laptop anywhere we want. It best suits for business and office related people.

A gamer must not think of buying a Laptop instead of Desktop. Buying a Desktop computer will give him/her more benefits. Desktop computers don't heat up very quickly, it becomes the best benefit of Desktop over Laptop. Also, there are other differences that make Desktop Computer much more reliable than a Laptop.

I agree with you that if a user is looking for a gaming computer, he should buy a desktop instead of a laptop. A laptop doesn't have a good fan for gaming which is really a necessity. You don't want to make your laptop overheat and damage it. However, there are laptops that are designed for gaming like what you've mentioned above. They cost more than the desktop computers though but if you want gaming portability then a gaming laptop will suit your need.
