Rep Power: 5 | i think the topic of the thread .. as admin posted it is which laptop u use.. not the problems associated with it.. it will be better if u make a new thread for your query regarding ram.. and as far as i know... after putting additional ram.. either a cd will be there .. configuring the details of your new ram.. for all company different.. and if not,,, lets see wat ohter ppl say.. abt it |

Rep Power: 2 | I own a HP DV 6000 series Notebook with 1Gb Ram (Expanded to 2Gb now), 160gb HardDisk, Webcam, Microphone, Alteclansing speakers, DVD Writer. And a nice black wave design on outer cover makes it very good looking. I won it from June 2007. |

Rep Power: 10 | I've Acer Aspire 5920 (Intel's Santa Rosa Compliant)... I recommend to go for Acer if u want a robust laptop... Especially if u use a laptop like a desktop... I keep my laptop running for 24*7 for last 6 months... No issues... doesn't heat up like HP... Support all over India is good... Normally, it takes 10 days max. to get it replaced, if therez a problem in warranty period... If u r near banglore... It will not take more than a week... If u've extra money... don't go for any brand except Dell... but if u want something that is value for money... go for Acer... |
