    @vishnu
    just type this and see..in ur terminal

    metacity --replace

    @gurusam

    to change your skydome

    ccsm-->desktop cube-->apperance tab-->skydome

    if u tick animate skydome their..ur skydome image will rotate..awesome effect

    Ok now something has changed.but still i don't find the images put by me in the background please help...
    I have changed the settings for it as shown below...


    My cube's screenshot's are shown...


    Please have a look and suggest..

    gurusam, have u enabled the jpg option for the images...i mean u've to select all the image formats jpg,png etc...i think u get that option in the front screen of the manager itself..

    try skydomes from here...

    mahell i have enabled those..now i have another problem the bar containing teh website name and destination name has dissappeared please help...see the bar containing close minimize is missing???

    click alt+ctrl+lclick button and move around the mouse...
    This is default setting.First you have to enable this in compiz fusion settings manager..
    Select Cube effect and cube reflection for nice effects...

    gurusam..

    open ur terminal and enter metacity --replace

    ur loosing ur borders thats all..btw have u installed emerald??

    I can see effects like this only... No cube effects....

    @itsmemad

    in settings manager...choose all....general options....desktop size tab...increase horizontal virtual size...make it 4 if u want a cube..infact u can have any number..

    btw, I get this msz in terminal whenever I type ccsm there & hit enter... Sud I care about it?

    naa..nothing..its ok..dont use terminal then..u can access it using the system menu..then select advanced displaly settings manager there..

    Wow that was cool...mine is good now...NO i ahve not installed emerald..should i??

    Please tell how to enable docks and remove the panel below..

    guru if i am not wrong you already have compiz installed on your system na..
    you can use avant just updating steps to install it
