well , i dont understand how you people manage to work on such bright and hi-tech desktops ...

this is my plain and simple desktop - i like it this way only ...

If you like luxurious houses, fast bikes, delicious food, elegant clothing, then why not a desktop which looks like a hi-tech spaceship control panel. If you have the resources why not use them to the fullest.

my laptop is not so high on resources ... very old model .. 1.4 celeron, 256 mb ram ... ibm r51

yes ... obviously its pretty much personal choice ... but bright colors on the desktop also puts some strain on eyes ...
