Have u tried checking out home network-- Fedora 9 and Windows Vista - LinuxQuestions.org
Thanks Man
Alternatively u can checkout Basic Networking Windows to Linux Fedora - www.reallylinux.com ***** too
I the link u mentioned above... but in my case am using a wireless router so the Ip address is assigned by the router.... where my desktop is connected by wire and laptop wirelessly.. so will i be able to configure in a more efficient way... Pls do suggest a better option....
Did u try after disabling DHCP on the router and manually entering an IP in the laptop and the PC ?
I tried that types but it failed to detect my desktop which has fedora 9 in it.... since it is a wired card interface its not able to detect....
