if i am not wrong, for torrents we do port forwarding in router and open same port in our computer firewall or filtering services.

Do you want in such way?

Hmm..firewall in linux is netfilter iptables.there are quiet a lot of front-ends.and in Ubuntu ,apt-get install ufw gufw and this will allow you to open a random port.if router is in bridge mode(that is you dial from Linux to connect ,not router pppoe mode),opening a random port like 52342 is enough.for pppoe mode ,you need to configure virtual server and all in router.
