Default cant connect broadband on Opensuse 11.0

Hello,
Is anybody know how to configure broadband internet on Opensuse 11.0.

My ISP is Asianet Data line
Modem: Motorola SB5101 Surfboard Cable Modem

It works perfectly on Windows XP and Vista.. S i think the problem may be driver support issues.. Few months ago, i use ubuntu live cd and access internet. but on this OS I cant connect..

Please help me...

I think using PPPoE will solve your problem. As it will be recognised as a LAN connection. Are you using a dialer.

It does not seem so from what he has said in his post. He might have not dialled after booting in with the Ubuntu Live CD.

@anooppsagar

1) Make sure that OpenSuse recognises your LAN Card.

2) If I'm right, just4kix, one moderator of our forums, might be able to help you with OpenSuse, because he is the only person here, whom I know to be using OpenSuse.

May be he is using an installed version now. That is why I was curious about the dialer.

I connect using LAN than USB. Try using the LAN card. May be that will fix the problem.
