No Problem, if you install the operating system cleanly without affecting the other.

    regarding Linux bridge mode connection

InfoSyndrome: Conecting Broadband in Linux - Bridge Mode

    This would help you.

I have Mandriva otherwise I would be happy to post the configuration screens as I am in bridge mode. But in Ubuntu also very simple GUI configuration available. (System->Administration->Networking) In fact, I have done the same when I tried the live Ubuntu 8.10 without installing. I achieved the same with out any difficulty. You can try the same without installing Ubuntu just boot from the live CD and try to configure and connect.

well which installation mode is best suited for newbies in terms of fast Net speeds especially
    Installation modes are as follows-:
    1.Live cd
    2.Virtual box
    3.Wubi

I would suggest the WUBI install option ...................
because while in the case of Virtual box the whole system speed would be slow because of larger no. of applications running simultaneously and in the case of Live CD the speed will be slower further as the R.P.M. with which the CD rotates is very slow comparitively .

although with reference to your querie ........ Internet Speed doesn't directly depend on the type of installation although computers processing i.e. functioning speed does .
