Default Reading Linux Partitions on Windows

Damn I have just install windows some days ago & was going mad by not being able to read Linux file systems. After a little searching i found out it was not that difficult as it seems. It is just a matter of installing of some software. Some of them are as follows:
    1. For ext2/3:
a.EXT2IFS from Ext2 IFS For Windows: Download
b.Ext2FSD Browse Ext2 File System Driver for Windows Files on SourceForge.net

Latter is open source. I used the Ext2IFS. Just followed the simple instructions that pop up.

I recommend Ext2FSD. Don't judge it by version number. It is quite simple to use. Here also you get simple options. Here is a screen shot of it:

And you are ready to go.

One point to be noted is that they treat ext3/4 as ext2.

    2. For rfs:
You can use :rfstool | freshmeat.net
I can't find any solution for xfs filesystems .
History is on the move,my friends. Those who cannot keep up will be left behind, to watch from distance. And those who stand in its way will not watch at all.
