You have to take software from source It was made from SLS or you can say it was forked from it after Patrick was asked to remove his version of SLS having bug removed.As the new things are made they are put into the tree of distribution.
Its stable release is Slackware 13.0 having KDE 4.2.4. For latest release you can use current release with bleeding edge softwares.
