    Question How to connecte Net In Ubuntu Linux

    Hello friend, I am geek user of windows OS, bt due to my interest in Linux , now a days I started to use linux but I don't know more about Linux. So Please let me know How to connect net in Ubuntu directly... In fact I am very basic user of Linux. I wanna Connect net using my Vodafone modem k3570-z. But when I connect it to my usb port it does not recognize it correctly...

    Somebudy suggested me to use sakis3g script of linux so I used it at the first attempt I was able to connect net but don't know what happened at second time now I am not able to connect net even by using tat sakis3g script.


    PLz plz friend suggest me to connect easiest way for connecting using modem

    Are you on Bridge mode or pppoe?

    hey friend...Sorry to say But I don't really understand what exactly is bridge and PPPOE..

    plz help..

    If you need to dial everytime you need to use internet, you are in bridge mode.....
    else you are on pppoe mode....

    Here are two video demos of ubuntu bsnl configuration for bridge as well as pppoe modes.

    I don't use the device that you mentioned ... but had a look at the sakis3g script, its a shell script and hope that you get it done. check out the wiki and redo the same step that you did before. You must feel fortunate that it worked the first time so obviously it should work

    Create Connection Here ..


    If gives all the type of connections .. bridge, pppoe etc .
