Thread: Torrent slowing down after 2 or 3 downloads

I am using qbittorrent in my ubuntu and bsnl broadband 499 UL plan.I used to get 25 to 30 kbps while downloading(movies).but after 3 or more successful downloads, my torrent downloading speed becomes very slow(20 kbps).what is the problem here? It is also same when I use windows xp.

From which site do you download torrents ? Some sites do not give good speeds for download if your upload rate is low. Make sure you stop uploading of finished torrents and check.

Always use torrents with good seed to peer ratio. User private trackers.

Somehow missed this thread.

When the registration is open, get an invite from demonoid.me or similar. They normally have good no. of seeds. Also while selecting torrents, almost all torrent clients give details about no. of seeds. Simply select the one with enough seeds.
