    Ubuntu minimum Disk space needed is 5GB. And recommended Disk space is 8GB.
    Xubuntu minimum Disk space needed is 1.5GB. And recommended Disk space is 8GB.

    BTW. You can also use a downloaded ISO with Wubi. Just place the ISO file in the same folder as Wubi. You need the latest version of Ubuntu and Wubi for this to work. :yes:

    I didint see any options to increase space after installation so I guess its better to give it a bit more space, I gave it 100GB coz I had a lot of space lying doing nothing.

    I mean once you have done that and allocated space for Ubuntu is there any way to increase or decrease the allocated space later on?

    But I'm always low on disc space cuz of downloads.. so, I guess I'll give it around the recommended size of Vishnu... Maybe 10 GB...

    @Vishnu

    Thanx for the information bout the iso man... I presume, I've the latest version... Gonna try it..

    I got the info from this website. Wubi - Ubuntu Installer for Windows. Please refer this website before making any decision.
    I am downloading Ubuntu 8.04.1 Desktop. 64AMD(official torrent) right now. I have a 25GB empty drive to install it.

    Error 1: Filename must be either an absolute pathname or blocklist
