they are ordinary people everywhere, and the more matured settled people are the ones who move on in life! Sometimes it makes a difference to what age you are, the people you know!

What makes you think that i was judging you, i didn't say anything about you neither did i call you im mature! I was talking in general!

I dont even know why you are taking this so personal, when its discussion!

You may be right in what you say, but i dont think that that why i said and a lot of others thing that clinging onto the past basically is bad for the future!

    OK, here's my view.

It is not possible to totally forget bad experiences in the past.
Given that, one needs to make sure that those past experiences
do not haunt them in the present and affect your life negatively.

I personally have moved on from some bad experiences. I still
remember those events, but I don't keep awake at night
thinking about those and raising my blood pressure.

That's what moving on is - not forgetting, but not letting the
    past make your present miserable.

    that's my 2paise

sometimes, one finds success and happiness in being able to keep memories of someone close to them alive...the past is not always worse than present...

Eventually, time heals the bad memories of the past.
And if you're happy now there's no reason to think about it as long as you've learnt from your mistakes for the future.
    All's well that end's well !

we can never fully erase our past. because what we presently are depends on our past only.
at the same time, it is always essential to move forward. life is like the water of a river. it needs to flow through. if the flow is blocked, then when it breaks free, it destroys everything in its path, including itself.
so its important that we remember the past, both good and bad, but not cling to it.
Also remember our past mistakes and learn from them and try not to repeat them.
