    Default Techies marriage market hit

The globel meltdown has also affected the marriages in India.Till recently young men and women working in India's mushrooming information technology (IT) firms and earning fat salaries were among the most sought after potential brides and grooms in the marriage market. But not any more. Now a days bride's parents are not looking for grooms working in the IT industry as they feel that their jobs are not stable & secure. They are looking for grooms who are working in a sectors where there is greater job protection. When the IT industry was booming, all the bride's parent were looking for the grooms in the IT industry & now when the IT section is going through a bad phase they dont want grooms from IT industry anymore.Looking for your comments on this.

    this is really sad
if this continues then i will not be able to marry at all, afterall wipro is a brand name and everyone know it, then i think people will talk like this
ohh god this guy works in wipro hmy: just let it be do you know wipro is one of the leading IT firm :eek1:

BTW: who thinks that IT is not, i understand its not grooming as it was grooming few years back but still that dosn't mean that IT guys are not good or they can not earn a good amount. I am sure withing a few years this IT and BPO will do the trick and will shout on all stupids to keep thr mouth shut
