I actually remembered an incident, it wasn't anything major, but i knew from that time that i would never ask that person for something instead get it myself!
A friend of mine told me about this chicken roll he had, it was a romali roti, with omelette in it and peices of chicken with onions. He said it was really nice and yummy. He said next time he will get it for me, he went there so many times didn't bring it for me.
He then came to my house and he said hes going out for 20mins and he will also bring that wrap for me, so i waited and when he came back he didn't bring it he said he forgot!
The next he was at my house again, and i actually asked him to get it for me, I said do you want it too he said no, then i thought i would leave it too, because he likes it and now hes just saying no to it.
So i said just bring it for me and you have one yourself too, then he said we will both go out and have it later on!

I know it is funny, but he let me down twice, after saying himself he will get it, why say it in the first place when your not going to do something. I hate those people who say something then don't do it!

Maddy after reading your experience, I can understand how you would felt at that time; whole day doing masti thinking that by the end of the day, you'll have all the question with you for tommorow's exam and you end up with peanuts; I tell you this made my remind of the similar practice in my school too. Later on when the weeker students came up with good marks, our teachers (who were giving tutions and secret question
) got the bad reportcards from the principal for themselves.

Actually I left the worst part in my previous post... Next day when I went to school... Few friends of my group told me few specific questions to learn... And those questions actually came... Apparently my chaddi-buddy had lost control on himself in the morning and barked out couple of questions to them(but not to me)... I felt let down by my best friend that day...

I was his roomie in Delhi for 3 yrs(graduation) during my stay at Delhi... And he was good all the while... Maybe I still like his company... Whenever I meet him now, we have a good time... I don't know what do u mean by best buddy... But for me now a best buddy is with whom I can enjoy my life... If he can help, its fine... If he can't, then also it doesn't matter... So, in that perspective, hez still among my best buddies!Oh poor maddy
P.S.- I didn't talk to him for only 1 month after that incident... Later on I stopped caring about it... But that incident changed my view of friendship for sure... And I'm glad it did... Infact, I was a confused teenager before that... I was little rebellion at home and good to people outside home...

Not yet! I missed my opportunity in August... When they took whole batch of freshers... I guess I've to wait for another yr to get in there... So, I'm not really counting on it now... And my stitches in ankle have gone worse due to the leather flotus I started to wear few days back... Its infected... And I'm getting the treatment for it... Can't really go out of Patna right now... Have already canceled couple of Tkts of Pune! :sad:
And that too for chicken! Good u never forgave him... If I was in ur place, I'm sure I wud have same sentiments for him...

Well, my ankle bone has recovered 100%... Therez no pain... Its just the little complications that normally arise after a surgery... Its just a skinny issue now...5 months still no recovery

Btw, it was a major operation... As they took some bone out of the side of hip... And fixed it at ankle... The process is called bone-grafting... But thanks to it... My body is stitched at 2 places... :sad: I wasn't able to sleep properly for first 3 months... :crying:

the little experiences i have had so far taught me not to believe phrases like "one 4 all and all 4 one " , etc . We are alone here, each individual on their own.
i just walk the street i like best, doesnt matter if anybody walked along with me. some people are damn lucky, they just glide through their life without ever having to confront such disturbing aspects of life. but the others, who have to face it, learns to cope up with it. those who cant, well, they dont survive.

all i m trying to say is that there is no "One Rule" of greatness (forgiveness/forgetting). different situations demand different reactions from us.
