I forgot to update this thread, and i heard some news from my friend, her husband isn't going to quit smoking, and shes thought f*** it, if she cant stop him then there is no point.
They have a 3 year old daughter, and he says he wont smoke in front of her or in the house, but outside he will, he basically told her he cant quit, as hes been smoking for years and years now! Although she mentioned to me that she would try it herself for the sake of it................i told her don't, but oh well its her life!
I am a non smoker these dayscant smoke till the 5th feb
Might actually carry on being a nonsmoker after that as well![]()
Thats really good Admin! Keep it up!
Plan A
OK, Here's what we have to do. I lifted this idea from a Tamil TV serial.
Basically make him go to a general checkup. You bribe the doctor
or technician to switch the x-ray with someone who has lung cancer
or tuberculosis. The doctor should then tell him that he has to stop
smoking or he would die within 6 months. That should do the trick.
Then he gives some placebo pills and after six months the doctor
says you are ok now.
plan B.
Everyday before going to bed the wife should eat a lot of raw garlic.
If he complains then she should tell him that is is not as offensive
as cigarette smell.

Plan A : nice one, too filmy but nice, reminded me of Send me no flowers in a strange way.
Plan B : This one is Grand, I like it because it makes the cig hater eat garlic.
Well, I don't think her husband will quit smoking without spending some days at a hospital... personal experience(but 4 different reason)...![]()
One doesnt need to spend time in hospital to quit I havent been smoking for so many days now (nazar mat laga dena) and I dont even feel the cravings any more
I will not become a smoker again like I used to be... I might smoke again may be once in a while once I am completely out of it![]()
thats very positive of you.
but I couldnt possibly do that. I enjoy smoking so much that I cant quit.probably the man this thread is about feels the same way too.
I can say all sorts of things right now coz I am not smoking these days but I know how difficult it is to quit and how much I enjoyed smoking myself and I am not saying I would quit... I just wont smoke more then may be once or twice a week...
I had a lecturer called Navdeep Sharma at IHM and I remember he used to smoke three ciggies a day (thats if he didint lie) and I see nothing wrong in doing that if someone has that kind of discipline then I guess its kind of ok... Just dont make it a chain and stick to the rules![]()
Thats right... but what I said was cuz I wasn't even trying like her husband before... atleast u r trying... anyway all the best for ur endeavor..
Even I had a teacher in school who used to smoke occasionally... And he is still a great inspiration for me... Therez really no harm if someone has so much of control on himself... :thumbup1:

Great ideas farce, but honestly saying its up to my friend what she does, shes the one comes for help, doesn't listen to what the others says and does her own thing, so I'll leave it to her to decide!
I suppose what Admin said is fair enough, and i know her husband isn't a chain smoker, or someone who has 3 ciggies a day, so i dont know what you would call a person in between that!
That person is simply enjoyin his life... Let him smoke... lol
On a serious note... Tell ur friend to always discourage him from smoking... I'm sure he'll need very small reason to quit smoking cuz of the care she will show...
Thats bad itsmemad! But ive stopped saying anything to her anyway! If the problem every arises in my life, then i will have to decide on that time what to do, sometimes its difficult to tell someone to do something when your not in their situation! Hope im not ever in her situation though, as i don't want a smoker as a partner!
yeh i will do for sure!
In addition to filtering out the smokers,
Select a guy with the following qualifications.
He should be kind with a king size heart.
he should be handsom like the Marlboro man.
He should not have a big ego otherwise you'll have a clash of wills.
He should be well off so he can cover you with gold flakes.
He should be smart with an IQ of 555.

But i will stick to a guy who just is intelligent and has a sense of humour!
than what happen if she do this...???
it was so hard to quit smoking also when the smoker too wants to quit it........i'm telling this becoz i'm a chain smoker........
so plz tell ur friend that she have to talk to her husband frankly nd tell him all the thing nd make him to make his no of smokes bit down it was the only way to quit it.......it takes lots of patience and time..........
