    Yes, how did u react?
Being Single does not mean i can't date anyone I just don't want to commit, as my priorities are different.

well, what would i say man!
I was too embarrassed to say anything, but my GF said "Hey, look! how disgusting"

PS:I posted about this here, as someone here pointed out we shouldn't have moral policing at all. I just wanted to say, some amount of moral policing is need of the hour

I will again like to highlight that kissing in public is not an Indian character.sorry for being against whats others are saying.but i think that kissing is very intimate thing.very personal emotions are expressed by kiss.its just like having $€# in public.i think the word itself is very humble and intimate.we dont just kiss anYONE.we kiss either our mates or to those who are our spouse.i feel kissing is not just involving of mouths or lips.but its more than that.i will really feel embarrassed if my mate will do it in public.infact i feel that a normal Indian girl must feel about doing it in public.sorry for my such believes, may be i am an oldee, not changing with the world.but kissing affection and love are very sacred for me.its like eating food, which you cant eat nicely in open.rests your wish.its my feeling that one who has real emotions will never show off rather catch her/his arms hold her/his neck and leave it there no her/his lips.the patch of tenderness and sincerity for someone.thats i think is going to be uncomfortable in public.

Forget normal people kissing in parks & restaurants and getting bashed up by police... India isn't a safe place to show affection publicly anywhere by anyone... Who knows it better than Richard Gere & Shilpa Shetty...

I love a Russian girl.and she herself says that kissing is intimate thing.and that she feels uncomfortable doing it to someone she love in public.she is from a more modern society where kissing is normal thing.but even she feels so.she says sex culture is in last stage in Russia.many young people arent virgin but still she and many people like her feel so.meanwhile the Russian govt. Has declined senate members kissing each other because it introduced cultural degradation of the society.in eastern european states new norms are set for public morality.so what ways are we taking up?is it really very very important to kiss in public?

Yes i just try to mean that suppose i am conservative person but it's my personal view how can i expect everybody should be same.Which culture i like this is my choice another person may have different life style and culture and one liberal society should give such freedom to all the person.

now these are the people that need to be bashed up (just a figure of speech) , instead, it is them who are harmlessly enjoying their time together ... India is a screwed nation.

The poll says that around 82% of us thinks that we need to change, we should be open minded and kissing should be allowed in public while around 12% of us thinks that No, kissing is against our culture.

I am bit confused. I found that most of us in our posts said that there should be some decency in ourself and there should be some limit means small kiss can do but kissing or smooching not allowed and we all say no to it.

So why there is a difference in what we say and what the polls are reflecting.

Are we all trying to say that, yes we got a problem with this but this should change.

actually manish any1 will feel a bit awkward with a very long kiss thats just going on n on... thats why the opposition exists... otherwise small display of affection should be allowed....

i don't believe how the hell did mail2sc bring my non existant kids into the discussion...even when he dint get what i said...

Very good point Manish i was thinking also that thing but you can check my reply it's very clear and no double standard present in that. This is very unique country my friend one movie has 7-8 second long kissing scene and got the rating U(jab We met) and lots of family watching the film in the hall with children no problem with that problem if it's happen in public life or normal life. It's real confusing situation of.We know what is the ideal think in one liberal society but we don't want to see that in our social life may be this is our limitation.
In this thread Ramesh ask one clear question is Kissing in Public: OK or Not OK few person try to give the answer with spread the issue and never clear their opinion somebody is telling that we need a limit, some one also give the time limit (I think not to kiss is better option than time limit), some one is telling it's "But why take risk" that mean one civilized society don't have faith with the adult citizen, always we are thinking may just now they will do something else.If a person is responsible he/she know what should be the ultimate limitation.Another think we are not discussing here only for the irresponsible person and why everybody will suffer for few irresponsible person. My opinion is kissing and smooching don't have the harmful effect in society. But what i said we Indians think something else, say something else,do something else and finally want something else.Really our combination is unique our favorite film star is Imran Hasmi and favorite party is Sri RamSena.

Do you really think so? well I won't. I think their is hell lot of politics over religions. Ram sena, shiv sena etc. are all the example of the politics over religion and culture. damn

Its inadequate to come to some conclusions without asking the female members.i know we have less female members here.but still just like Our own Aaka did.princess preety-dreamy sapna and others must give their views too about if girls find it easy and ok to kiss in public.
Just like no clap is possible without two palms.no kiss is possible without two humans.

By the ways God created Manu.

Ekatrina told me that till 80s it was normal for soviet guys to kiss each other.soviet leaders did with their heroes,(read Gagarin-Khrushchev)but now the time changed.two members of their duma were kicked out for kissing each other.they said they are propagating gayism
