No. I think. I am unsure about that part.
place of birth is an indirect factor because the the positions of stars and planets are considered relative to the place of birth.
Place of birth, date of birth and time of birth (± 5 minutes) is all that is required to make a kundali. There are lots of software packages available for the same.
^^ Yes, and the most common and widely used softwae is named "Kundali" itself. It is a paid software.

no vikram i meant was....my parents want me to find a guy or fall in love with some one of my frens ....so tht no more hassles for em...n its easy.....
now i believe in Kundli as now i know what they match & see and whats the importance of it.....!
just 1 ex : they say "naadi" should be different they should not be same ! that indirectly means the blood group should be different not same, thats exactly is not blood group but still related to that itself...!
Why only kundlis, people are matching just about everything before tying nuptial knots. There as an article that I read yesterday that says people are utilizing services of detective agencies to be know more about prospective grooms/brides.With life becoming more and more complex and people having materialistic tendencies more than ever before, nobody wants to take a risk.
No. as i know it cant be determined by kundli but the people used some other thing to distinguish them..... its exactly not blood group but something similar to it
but my dear friend exact time of birth in all the hospitals, we can surely say its a boy or a girl 100% sure, using ancient astrology....

I don't know much about horoscope but it is followed in my parents family however my in-laws don't .. mine was a love marriage and had no option to match the kundli, my hubby doesn't have one
(ma) both of us are happily married ....must be something about the destiny and a lot about mutual understanding and support![]()
I'm a firm non-b'liever in this shhit... In my own experience some families do match it to find an excuse to reject a prospective (not much attractive) guy or girl...
BTW, I heard a rumor that Aishwarya Rai was married to a tree first before becoming part of Bachchan family... Just cuz shez a Mangalik...
Another example was in the movie "Welcome to Sajjanpur"... where a boor lady was trying to marry her Mangalik daughter to a Dog...
I really don't b'lieve in customs which try to degrade a human being and leave them scarred for rest of of their lives!

Horoscope is not only for marriage it's give the idea of basic character of any person and also it can predict few future probability by the calculation of nine planet position.Personally still for me lots prediction become true which present in my horoscope and this method of horoscope was created in Veda which was the so called the light of knowledge in old India.
sorry saw your post now ...
there are certain ways of calculating the kundli ie making the kundli itself in that procedure there is a way to confirm if the kundli they have written is correct or not.
in that confirmation there are some calculations to be done which will determine that at the time of birth its boy or a girl.... if you need the exact procedure let me know ill post but its a bit lengthy and you need to have some astrological entities...
it really depends on the personal feelings thats all.... in my relation 2 sisters are there, in which the elder 1 got married to an Air force officer without matching the kundli then just after a few days of marriage they broke out.... then they matched kundli and saw it did not match now she got 2nd marriage after seeing kundli now she is happily having a baby....
2nd sister she also was having some defect so her marriage was first made with "DARBHA" ( a type of grass) then they broke the marriage with it and later she got married to an engineer now both are very happy having 2 kids
what can you say for this....?
so its better to leave it on to the parents let them do what they feel correct....!
exactly correct rupu !
even when my kundli was written they told that till he finishes his 12th std he will have very much problems but once it is cleared he will never look back...
exactly the same has happened...

I don't believe in this... like you, I can cite many examples too... My uncle got married after my grand-parents matched his Kundlis with a girl... His wife ran away just after 3 days of marriage... Apparently, she was entangled with a guy... After couple of yrs he was married again... again by matching Kundlis... His 2nd wife bore him 2 kids.. But after 4-5 yrs he committed suicide... Cuz his 2nd wife was always fighting him...
my 3 other uncles did love-marriage without matching Kundlis(one of them married a Christian)... all 3 of them has been successful... and living life happily with their now grown-up kids...
Marriage is a gamble which people sometime win, sometime lose... Kundlis are another tool for Pandits to earn money... They will always find a way to match 2 unmatching kundlis... For ex. - marrying a girl to a tree or a dog!
as i said you my dear friend it all depends on your faith thats all .... if you dont want to believe its your wish no body is forcing you for anything....
world is moving towards open source so no piracy.... LOLyou can also choose anything you want it depends on what you believe thats all
Ofcorse you are entitled to have your beliefs... I was just justifying my reason as u justified urs!![]()
