Thread: Would you like to have a geek partner?

Hey people I am moving to my home town on 24th, I may be offline for sometime till my PC arrives through transport. Finally after a long time I am going to take a break from busy life.

Eat fish (I love fish.), watch TV and most importantly sleep as long as possible,
and I have already started dreaming about the gulab jaamuns.:18::yes:

Completely agree with our Casper ( who might be knowing more due to his other wordly connection)

I was looking for a job, then I thought to myself, I studied for about 19 years, then worked for a few years ,why not take break and just sit idle for some time, have a look at life, help my maa in kitchen .
I can always go back to work , isn't it ?

Only one question,
work for what ; Money ?
And then after 10-20 years I would look back and think that I have only earned a lot of money and done nothing else in life.

I have been suffering every day since my first day at work looking at robotic people with lazy eyes , coming to work at 9, going home at 6 , eating sleeping and doing it all over again the next day. That is another reason I spend my 90% of time in front of my PC, because In internet, I kind of find another world, though virtual but with lots of versatility.But that also, I will not be able to do for long .

Everything I touch, anything I take interest in seems to get saturated in a few days or months. Then I jump to something else, but for how long ?

Sorry I can't do that for long.I getting really sick of doing it now. I want to be a free whilly sir. I am going to go mad if I don't do anything soon.

Now I understand partially why Buddhadev became Buddhadev.

Puchu, It's a phase, you'll get over it.

Unless your family is filthy rich and you can sit and eat for
generations, at some point you have to work and earn your food
for you and later your family.

I share same sentiments... Life is too short... You should explore as many things as you can.... Atleast before you start a family...

This poem is like haiku with sole exception that it follows Fibonacci series by mistake I have written it.

@Farce I know that that's why I have written "like". I read about haiku in Percy of Jackson III Titan's curse where Apollo was a fan of Haiku. I was confused 'bout that :-

"Sure, sis!" Then he raised his hands in a stop everything gesture. "I feel a haiku coming on."

The Hunters all groaned. Apparently they'd met Apollo before.

He cleared his throat and held up one hand dramatically.
