Although my family is not rich, but I don't think my earnings are going to affect my family. It will affect me and me only.

I did never say that I don't want to work anymore, I said that I am done doing the same thing everyday.

And when one person is capable of doing only one thing ,it becomes easy to choose a path, but when you become jack of all traits , it becomes too difficult to choose only one when they all attract you.

    Ya me too,
I was planning to buy another pair and make a 2.1 + 2.1 surround set up,
but then my local dealer said that they are not in production any more.
    Is it true ?

Nope. Perhaps they're just out of stock and their dealer isn't delivering them any for some reasons. There are lots of other shops that sell them anyways, look for them. You can also look for some of them in the internet if you want to you know. :hammer::P

Yes, I would take on a 'geek' partner. My husband is not a geek, but if he is not working he is wathcing some rubbish television programme.

Sometimes I just wish we could have a conversation, anyway I love my computer too!

I don't understand what is the problem with the females and how much they wanna talk with their partners... They always have problem if their husband or boyfriend watches tv, spends time on the Computer, reads newspaper in the loo, chills out with his friend...

Come on we are not your pet.. we need some space... I think if your husband speaks to you everyday on the dinner table, he is doing a great job...

Social requirements of any person differs from others.

I can live without talking to anybody for months, some people being in my place, would get mad in no time.
But I have realized that when you live with your partner , there comes a time when you have to understand, when and where your partner needs your company and when he/she needs his/her own space.

As far as guys are concerned, we would love that PC till we die and we would watch that last episode of Trueblood even when wife has filed a divorce case.

I don't think geek means studious as a whole, at least as far as I am concerned , I am not that much of a studious person and I would not say no to go out with my loved ones.
You may say that you would have planned something a week ago or an hour ago and I would completely forget and start playing GRID.

I have noticed that many people mistake geek to be an idiot or studious or a guy or a girl with thick glasses who are only good at studies. But I think being a geek does not necessarily mean that you are not good at anything else other then technology and stuff (and doing project works of roommates ).

I have few friends who always stay neck deep in technology stuff, but still one of them is a software engineer(32) who has completed 3 full marathons 2 half marathons and the latest-a 35 km long peace run, another is a criminal layer lawyer(48) who completed COD4 within 48 HRs and broke my record along side his usual work, another person(42) who runs an alcoholics' rehabilitation camp and is a lawyer who exclusively imported two 9800GT hybrids last year which was not available in local store for playing games with his son.And finally me the youngest of my group love to love my laptop and my PC, love to cook and not at all studious .

I don't think any of the above persons fit in to the frame of thick glass studious idiot .
