I can not see any reason to feel ashamed of buying condom's. If you care for yourself and for your partner then you should avoid all such feeling and its not something new that you are doing or its not the first time someone is visiting that chemist to buy stuff.

If chemist can sell without feeling shy, if companies can produce without feeling anything like that and if other people can get involved in selling, promotion, marketing, transportation without feeling shy then for what good reason you people feel shy. There are number of people who get daily bread due to this product.

I think you people really need to work for NACO or for other social organizations rather then feeling shy in buying or talking about it.

mail2sc, Seriously. You need to grow out of the medieval times. I am not saying this based on the above comment but from all your posts on such topics. I am not scolding - just advising like an older brother.

my chemist home-delivers orders. so i just use the phone. its far more easier and impersonal.

and a month's supply of premium condoms is much lesser than the price of a month's pack of oral contraceptives.
    i agree......

i-pills are basically to be used on an emergency basis n i hope everyone here understands emergency ..... not tht which happens every 2-3 weeks or months ..... yep i agree with bhoooot tht there r lots of chances or infertility....

plus using a condon the biggest factor is hygeine....

Yeah , I too am against all such procedures which are against the nature. As for intercourse , well I'm not married & want to be faithful to my future spouse regardless of her consideration in this matter.

LS, We are way-way going against nature everywhere - 'condoms' and contraceptives is just a small part of this. If we wish not to go against nature, then we should also stop taking all medicines.

We are forced to use contraceptives because we have elongated life span. That has caused the population to boom. And unlike most animals who have a breeding season, humans don't.

No that's not what I meant . I meant to say I am against abortion unless mother life is in danger.

what does being faithful got to do with using condoms?
in fact if you are going to be unfaithful you better use condoms.

    I think he is equating:

Buying condoms = probably for being unfaithful

Well buying condoms before marriage = premarital affairs which is unfaithfulness to my future spouse.
Unless there are other uses of condom that I am not aware of.

Thats what I wanted to say. & I am against abortion as it is destroying life.

    .
you are reeeeeeeeeeeally stretching the definition of unfaithful.
you cannot be unfaithful to someone who you haven't married yet.
what if one never gets married, then does all the affairs he has
is OK, but once he gets married, all the previous affairs suddenly
    become unfaithful affairs?
I don't agree with you on that definition. Future doesn't count,
only present counts, not even the past.

Ah, Farce! Indian men expect their wives to be virgins. So it is morally right that LS stays a virgin.

There is neither anything bad nor anything good but our thinking make it so. Aristotle.
Yeah , I am stretching the definition, as one might be having affair with future wife of a friend. Now return to topic.
    Kix is right.

I don't think buying condom is a shameful act.
History is on the move,my friends. Those who cannot keep up will be left behind, to watch from distance. And those who stand in its way will not watch at all.http://windows7sins.org/
