This is a flower from Thailand. It is also a protected species and not allowed to be exported.

They should export the bulbs. What is wrong in extending the geography of the species?

It loses it's uniqueness if everone in the world had a parrot flower
    plant in their backyard.

I am not agreeing with their export ban, just explaining what
    their reason might be.
