Thread: Fire fox the best Internet browser:

I have used many internet browsers like the chrome, IE, Opera and firefox. But firefox wins hands down in the war of browsers, atleast for me and well it is also my default browser.

Firefox is faster and safer than IE8, it has better phishing protection. Also firefox is more stable and can handle sessions more effectively. The best thing about firefox is its addons and there are thousands of them with which you can have your own very customized browser!
Almost all sites are compatible with fire fox, videos and pics load faster, if your broadband is slow then you can just uncheck the load images automatically option and see pages load at better speed! And firefox has this awesome inbuilt dictionary too, yup that is highly helpful for a person like who types everything in sms lingo!

In my opinion Google Chrome is better than Firefox now.
as Extensions have been released for chrome recently.
It is secure.
Tab handling is better.
Starts up Fast. Faster than firefox.
Better JavaScript performance.
Better Page load performance, even faster than opera.
Addons support. Almost all addons that are available for firefox(especially AdBlock which is now AdThwart for chrome, is there). Hundreds are added daily.
Does not hang on facebook chat.

Chrome with extensions is a lot better than FireFox now

Yes. It does not hang on facebook chat.

Up to yesterday I was using Google Chrome and then switched to Opera 10.5 Beta, it is really fastest browser.

But Opera does not have extensions
I would use Opera the day it supports extensions as it uses less memory than Chrome.

Why do you need extension???????
And which one???

AdBlock Plus mainly and others like ChromedBird(for twitter), smooth scroll etc.
I cannot imagine the web without AdBlock Plus. It blocks every add the internet has.

Makes every website look cleaner.

Facebook chat itself is defective in the slightest of intermitent connectivity.
