I'm recovering from an ankle surgery... Kinda house-arrest... And my dad doesnt appreciate my drinking habits much... So, have to respect that...

thats a bit OTT, you don't need to know how someone sleeps, what they do at home, at this rate you find anyone suitable for you. There is no one person like you, what you don't do you will think is not good and your partner is bound to have other habits and ways of living to you. Neither can you change and you cant expect someone to change for you.

Your reasons are wrong, and the rate at some people who change their partners they will be living with different people all the time.

Marriage doesn't mean someone being like you, or you loving what they do, there will be differences all the time and sometimes those differences or dislikes are not seen when just living in, and its not necessary you will notice them then. Long way down the lane of marriage couples find out things about their partners which they didn't know and things they start disliking later on.

I'm not against live ins, but i think one should live in as a couple only if they are committed for marriage, but it shouldn't be done just to find out what they are like, thats the wrong reason.

Live in with students, co workers thats something different.

Indian society is built on the tradition of ethics and morality in a indian model.So livein relationships doesn't work here.

considering the work pressure and fast life, a couple goes in a live in relation primarily to give each other more time...

i agree here... and honestly we need time to understand someone and timeouts from work or small dates can not do, if you love someone then you really need to spend sometime with him/her and this live in relation can provide you some time to be together

Insecurities r always there in between a girl and a guy having affair... A marriage and a live in relation helps to allay those fears... I agree with u on ur last point that one should not go in live in relation with a temporary kind of motive...
