No matter what Good or bad we do,Our parents will always be with us,no matter what may come ,you might lose best friends,good partners..but Parents they are your first n last resort .. I agree with you Vineesh, what yuo have written is absolutely true. Its why parents are so special and they called parents and there is no one that can replace them.
How you are with your parents also affects how your parents are with you, your parents have to be equally understanding and be friendly with you, which leads to a healthy child and parent relationship.

Its also very true that especially for girls who get married and move to their in laws, no matter how nice their in laws may be but they can never be their parents, your own parents are your own and no one can take their place, not an uncle, not your in laws no one!

You can pick anyone to be your friend, anyone to be your husband or wife but no one can be your mum or dad!
